HomeStay’s Amanda Sweeney is set to feature in a discussion regarding major tech advancements and the Internet of Things (IoT).
The Australian publication IoT Hub has invited women working with Internet of Things (IoT) technology to be part of a one-hour roundtable discussion about IoT on Thursday, September 5.
The discussion is providing women working with IoT tech the chance to share their insights about IoT, as well as to learn about peer IoT experiences while raising their industry profile.
Amanda Sweeney, COO of HomeStay has been chosen to participate in the roundtable discussion so that she might share her experience with IoT in the Healthcare domain.
“I’m looking forward to sharing my experience within the IoT space, as I think this is a significantly important time for technology to be applied to all facets of people’s lives,” she said.
“As HomeStay has been operating in the healthcare sphere, advances in technology can make a significant, if not life-altering impact on the lives of people who have traditionally been quite vulnerable.
“I hope that the discussion will provide significant learning opportunities and innovations for us all to share and benefit from.”
Scheduled to be held at the Victorian Innovation Hub on Collins Street in Melbourne’s Docklands precinct, the event will be part of the Victorian Government’s Digital Innovation Festival.
The roundtable will be hosted by journalist, editor and corporate writer (and IoT Hub’s Editor) William Maher, who brings more than 20 years’ experience writing about technology to the event.
